Scan in progress for two men hurled from yacht off Shell Key

The Coast Guard said it was scanning for two male boaters who were clearly hurled from a 60 foot yacht off Shell Key.

The Coast Guard was being aided in the scan for the men by protect teams from Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Pinellas County and FWC.

The yacht, called Jaguar, announced the two men over the edge.



The inquiry comes toward the finish of a 24-hour occupied period for pursuit and save groups. Uneven waters over the Bay Area brought about the safeguard of 18 individuals Monday and Tuesday.

Vincent Jackson and his family are fortunate to be alive after their pontoon inverted before Tuesday.
